Dave
Dave is a big Football fan [Soccer] and sport of any type. He is under no doubt he is in the right place. In UK Dave was a Bobby, [Police officer] for 11years. Dave is the main drive for Friends in Queensland and decided that he may as well help out new Aussies for a living as he enjoyed it so much in the last year.
Tracy
Tracy was a Macmillan Nurse in the UK , and has continued her specialist career in Australia . She loves the out door lifestyle and has taken up swimming and tennis since arriving in Queensland . Being a family orientated person, Tracy struggled to settle in at first, but is glad she made the decision to stay.
Angus
Angus has changed completely since he came to
Queensland. He would struggle to get out of the house
in England, but since arriving, he is in the swimming
club, plays football for his local team, and has played
AFL and Rugby league. He hates school like most
boys, but has found it very easy to change schools
which is a surprise due to his previous quiet nature.
Heidi
Little miss action girl. Loves all physical activity and has thrived at school and in the Aussie climate. She coped a lot better than Angus due to her younger age and picked up an Aussie accent in less than 6 months!
